Rapid Fire Jackpots, a network built deliberately small

Five progressive pots running from £250 to £7,500, which is a ladder whose summit sits well below the seed of the uncapped pot on Blueprint's own older network (£100,000).

A jackpot built deliberately small

Every other network on this site is selling size, and most of them are selling nothing else. Blueprint's second jackpot product is selling the opposite, and it says so without embarrassment: five progressive pots running from £250 at the bottom to £7,500 at the top, which is a "ladder" whose summit would not reach the "ceiling" (the value at which a capped pot is forced down) of the middle tier on the company's own older network.

The arithmetic is worth doing once, because it puts the product in a place that no press release will put it. The whole Rapid Fire ladder fits inside the £35,000 ceiling of the second pot on Jackpot King, and the largest of the five is less than a tenth of the £100,000 that the uncapped Jackpot King merely starts at.

Rapid Fire Jackpots arrived on 27 June 2024, on a slot called King Kong Cash DJ Prime8, after an announcement earlier that month (10 June, in the trade press).

Jo Purvis, Blueprint's director of marketing and relationships, said the new product "sits perfectly alongside Jackpot King" (his words, in the launch announcement), and in our reading that is a careful way of conceding what the older network cannot do, since what it cannot do is pay somebody this week.

The supplier names two of the five pots, the "Mini" at the bottom and the "Mega King" at the top (the brand's own names), and leaves the three in between unnamed in the launch material (they are still unnamed in October 2026). Nobody has published a "seed" for any individual level either, so the only figures that exist for this network are the two ends of the range.

The wheel, and the outcome you will actually get

The trigger has no geometry to it at all, which is the first thing a player used to older machines will notice. Five Rapid Fire symbols anywhere on the reels will do (in any position, with no payline and no "left to right" rule), which is a long way from the nineties machines where five logos had to land on line fifteen in the right order.

What the trigger opens is the "Rapid Fire Wheel", and that wheel has two kinds of outcome on it. It can pay a multiplier of the stake, anywhere from five times to a thousand times, or it can pay one of the five pots, and those are the only two things printed on it. That first outcome is not a "jackpot" at all, in the sense this site uses the word.

A "multiplier" of your own stake comes out of the game's own payout mathematics, takes nothing from a shared pot and depends on nobody else's play, which makes Rapid Fire Jackpots a "hybrid" (part fixed prize, part shared pot) rather than a pure progressive. Put the two scales side by side and something awkward appears, which so far as we can tell nobody has pointed out.

At a stake of £1 the largest multiplier on the wheel pays £1,000, which is four times the smallest of the five pots, and at £10 a spin it pays £10,000, which is more than the "Mega King" standing at the top of the ladder.

So on this product the fixed prize and the progressive prize overlap across most of their range, and which of them is the better outcome depends entirely on what you were staking when the wheel appeared. That is a genuinely unusual piece of design, and we have not found it anywhere else!

What the announcement does not say

Three things are missing from the launch material, and every one of them matters more to a player than the names of the three unnamed pots. The first is the "contribution".

No figure has been published for the share of a stake that feeds these five pots (not a range, not an approximation, nothing), by Blueprint or by any operator holding a licence that would oblige it, which is also true of the older Blueprint network and of several others on this site. The second is a "must-drop" guarantee.

The two capped pots on Jackpot King are declared to fall before their ceilings (about £3,500 and about £35,000), and the Rapid Fire announcement makes no such declaration about any of its five pots; the trade press described the product as built to pay often, and "built to pay often" is not a mechanism. We treat the absence as an absence, rather than reading a guarantee into it. The third is the frequency itself.

Nobody has published an average interval between wins for any of these pots, and no tracker we read covers them at all; so a reader who wants to know how often £7,500 actually falls has nothing to go on, and nor have we.

How often they fall collects the networks for which that figure does exist, and the spread there runs from two hours and thirty-eight minutes (a Playtech level) to eleven years (another one).

Where it runs, and who else is in this part of the market

The launch listed Britain, Sweden, the Netherlands and the regulated .com markets, with Ontario described as coming (it had not been confirmed when we read the material), and that is a narrower footprint than the ten jurisdictions in which Games Global opened its own small-prize network two years later, by our count. It is a crowded corner of the market now, and the three products in it are not interchangeable at all!

The Red Tiger pots on the daily drop network are guaranteed by the operators who carry them to fall every hour and every day before midday; the Relax Gaming ladder on Dream Drop seeds at a single pound at the bottom and half a million at the top, and states that every stake has the same chance of starting the round.

The Red Tiger comparison is the sharpest of the three, because the figures are directly comparable. A "Daily Drop" is typically worth £40,000 to £50,000 (the figure a British operator gives for it), which is five or six times the "Mega King" at the top of this ladder, and the operators who carry it say it falls every single day before midday.

So a reader choosing between the two is not choosing between a large prize and a small one. What you are choosing between is a pot five times larger that falls on a clock, and a pot five times smaller with no timing published at all, which is an odd place for Blueprint to have planted its flag.

One supplier, two networks, and the distance between them is the whole argument of this site: the older Blueprint pool has paid a single win of €8,133,445.23 (April 2021, on a stake of €0.80), while this one tops out at £7,500. Against those two, Rapid Fire Jackpots is the only product of the three with a published prize range and no published timing whatsoever.

A player who wants the reassurance of a clock should read the Red Tiger material; a player who wants the reassurance of a large prize is on the wrong page altogether.

What this product does offer, and we would not want the comparison to hide it, is the thing the big networks have quietly stopped offering: a feature that fires often enough to be part of playing the game itself (rather than a "lottery" bolted on to it) rather than an event somebody reads about afterwards. Fixed or progressive sets out why that matters to the return you actually receive.

Questions

How much can you win on Rapid Fire Jackpots?

The five pots run from £250 to £7,500 across the ladder, and the wheel can also pay a multiplier of between five and a thousand times the stake instead. Blueprint has not published a seed for any individual level, so those two ends of the range are the only figures that exist.

How do you trigger Rapid Fire Jackpots?

Five Rapid Fire symbols anywhere on the reels, in any position, with no payline requirement. That opens the Rapid Fire Wheel, which pays either a stake multiplier of 5x to 1,000x or one of the five pots.

Is Rapid Fire Jackpots a must-drop jackpot?

Not as declared. The launch announcement makes no must-drop claim about any of the five pots, unlike the two capped pots on Jackpot King. The trade press described the product as built to pay often, which is a description rather than a guarantee.

Which game launched Rapid Fire Jackpots?

King Kong Cash DJ Prime8, on 27 June 2024, after an announcement earlier that month. The product went live in Britain, Sweden, the Netherlands and the regulated .com markets, with Ontario described as coming.

How often do the Rapid Fire pots fall?

Nobody publishes it. No average interval has been given for any of the five levels and no jackpot tracker we read covers them, so there is no observed frequency to report either.
